I'm running for re-election to keep protecting our small town quality of life, prioritize public safety and strengthen city services likes parks, libraries, and infrastructure improvements

Our priorities

Fighting for Our Community

These are some of the top priorities our campaign is focused on.

Public Health & Safety

Strengthening City Services

Protecting our Environment & Small Town Feel

Affordable Housing and Childcare Solutions

Addressing Homelessness

Public Health and Safety

Keeping Goleta a safe place for ALL of our neighbors is critical to our city's future. On council I have prioritized public health and safety,

Public Health and Safety means more than simply ensuring that our law enforcement partners have the tools and resources to help keep us all safe. It also means having support and services so that our immigrant neighbors being targeted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have access to legal, community and family oriented resources.

Public Health and Safety also means having neighborhoods where it is safe to cross the street or ride a bike without fear of taking our lives - or those of our most vulnerable community members like seniors or our children and youth.

Strengthening City Services

On the City Council I have prioritized the things that matter to Goleta residents.

We have increased road maintenance funding provided from our City General Fund by over 600% in the past four years. Last year we spent over $10.5 million towards fixing our roads.

We have added new sidewalks, trees, landscaping and bike lanes throughout Old Town. Resident no longer need to walk in the street to walk to the store or nearby parks!

Our Goleta Library Express is open and available to residents and soon our revitalized and expanded Goleta Valley Library will re-open to serve our community.

Our historic Goleta Community Center has been renovated and re-opened to the public! Soon our new Goleta Train Station will be completed, providing new transportation options for commuters, tourists and residents.

Finally our new Community Gardens and Splash Pad have been a hit in Old Town! Kids are keeping cool during the hot summer months in a safe and welcoming environment. The gardens are providing residents who don't have a yard the ability to plant food, herbs and flowers to improve their quality of life.
